Matthews Water Sports Celebrates Our 15th Successful Year It's been an exciting year for all of us with Matthews Water Sports, as we share our enthusiasm of the underwater with new divers. We trained over 200 new divers last year, and awarded dozens of certifications in specialty, advanced and Nitrox classes. We have added some new staff members and welcomed back some old friends. The excitement continues in 2008. A new dive master program was started in the spring. It is both challenging and rewarding to all that go for the Dive Control Specialist rating. Check by the shop if you are interested in pursuing your diving education to this level. If you are interested in becoming an SSI Instructor, then contact us and we will be glad to assist you in taking your leadership training to a new and rewarding level. Now is an excellent time to continue with your ongoing education. We offer Nitrox classes once a month, advanced training every 8 weeks, and Stress/Rescue classes several times a year.
